The party has been hired by Alder trading to return a Sapphire Scepter that was stolen from a caravan by a band of Minotaur’s. The night before the party is set to meet there guide they unknowingly stop a robbery in progress at the tavern. After defeating the Duergar the party meets Quil there guide who will lead them into the Calim Desert. They reach the outpost and find that the minotaur’s have been killed and find a horde of sapphires. While investigating the ruins they are attacked by Yrrim a blue dragon who has made this ruin his lair.
After defeating Yrrim the party locates the Sapphire Scepter and returns to the city. Upon returning to the city they over hear that the city has been renamed from Ravencrest to Castlemere and that the last member of the Ravencrest’s have been executed. Quil is assassinated by Alder for it was discovered he is a agent for the Ravenlords.
The party was awarded a cottage within the city walls by Alder Trading as a reward for returning the Scepter which was intended to be a gift to Empress Castlereagh from Isabella Shah of Calimshan
