As the party arrives at Ashgate Fortress and idle over the complex they witness a large explosion from the outer wall leading into the courtyard and a see a Tabaxi escaping. The Wererat crew descend and help the Tabaxi onto the deck of the ship and introduces himself as Fredrick Xanathar’s personal Aquarist.
While the party travels back to the mainland Fredrick explains that the Raven Lords are not worshipers of Asmodeus but actual a secret fraternity with the goal of taking over the Sword Coast with members placed important positions all around the world.
The Raven Lords are manipulating the Cult of Asmodeus in order to summon him within the city in order to cause a distraction so that Lady Arronal can break into the Lords Vault in Waterdeep and steal the gold held there.
During this conversation, the party is attacked by the Green Knuckle Gang’s Airship called the Green Envy and the remaining members of the Gang board and attack the party. Rhalina Margravin is killed and Sindax Blackscale sacrifices himself to kill the leader of the Green Knuckle Gang Fig once and for all.
